wolf in the moon

This is my scratchboard drawing of a wolf on a rock standing in the moonlight. I didn't have an idea for what I wanted to do before I started and when I was searching for an idea I came across a scratchboard drawing that was similar to this and I made my own out of it. I messed up on the tail a little, i made it longer and more straight than it should've been.

A Basketball's colors

Here is my color wheel drawing. I tried my best to draw a basketball, and behind it was a stream of colors.

Kobe Bryant

 This is my value graphed portrait. I decided to draw Kobe Bryant because basketball is my favorite sport, and because I also play basketball.I messed up on his eyes, and I didn't have enough time to fill-in all of his stubble on his chin and head.I also think I messed up on his teeth and the shading of his gums.

A long city

What I have drawn here is a one point perspective of a city type of area with a road between all of the buildings and stores.I was born in New York so I came up with the idea to draw a city. Before I started to draw this I didn't have an idea like most of my drawings, so there wasn;t very much thouhgt put into this.

On the court

This is the other side of my portfolio, on this side I sort of  had an idea of what I was going to do, but I wasn't fully sure. So eventually i decided to draw a basketball court because I am trying out for basketball this year, and i also added my initials to the center circle to be a little creative.

Jordan in block

This is one side of my portfolio, on this project I also didn't have a plan or idea so i decided to write my name in block letters and color/shade it in my first and second favorite color first, red and second blue.I feel like I messed up on the "R" and the "D" in this drawing.

Bird on a branch

This is my tempera batik painting of a bird (cardinal) on a branch and in the background there are hills and a blue sky with some small clouds.I didn't really have a story for this painting, i just didn't really know what to do so i remembered along time ago I drew something like this, so i decided to do it again.I feel like when I was painting over it with the black inc i put too much on the center.
