Coil Pot
This is my clay coil pot project, My first idea was to make a wide vase for my mother because she has a lot of plants but as i was connecting my coils they got out of control as I went higher and wider. Next time I will need to make sure all of my coils are the same length and thickness.

Oil painting
This is my oil painting, I saw another painting something like this online but it was a value painting that was black and white so i took the idea and made it my own. I kind of made a color wheel in the middle and did some sort of value painting with the black and white.

Elements of Art
This is my Elements of Art powerpoint I have presented each element with various pictures and examples from famous artist. I have also given a definition for each element. Most of my examples are pictures I found online and I've used them to show how the elements would be presented or shown in artwork.

bas relief
This is my bas relief project. I decided to do my project on a wolf, I have already done about two or three projects of a wolf so it's easy for me to draw or set up the background and other features of the project. It is somewhat simplistic but I am satisfied with it.

Metal Tooling
These are my sketch for my metal tooling project and my actual metal tooling project. I didn't have an idea as for any of my projects or artwork. So usually when I don't have an idea I try to think of something I have drawn or painted before so I decided to do a wolf howling in the moon. My scratchboard was the same thing just in a different orientation and style. My actual project didn't come out exactly how I wanted it, but it's good enough and I'm satisfied.

subtractive plaster sculpture
This is my subtractive plaster sculpture, I didn't have any idea until i looked at the starting shape I poured my plaster into then I came up with the idea of a soda can. I didn't want to do a certain brand of soda because I felt like if it wasn't gonna be perfect then I shouldn't do it at all.

Formal Art Critique

Description
The painting is called American Gothic and was painted by Grant Wood in 1930. It is a portrait of a male and supposedly his female or lover and is a oil painting that was painted on a beaver board, and is placed in the institute of Chicago. In the painting the female seems to be disappointed or angry at the male for some unknown reason. The male in the painting is holding a pitchfork in his right hand and he seems concerned. The setting of the painting seems to be placed in a older time period. Their house or barn of some type in the background with cloudy skys and some small trees.
Analysis
The picture shows a middle-aged couple which I interpreted as a farmer with either his wife or daughter standing in front of their home, barn, or a wooden farmhouse that I'm guessing was built in the 1870s to the 1890s. The architectural style known as Carpenter (or American) Gothic. Little of the background is visible however, because the figures are so close to the viewer. He used his sister Nan (1899–1990) and Dr. Byron McKeeby (1867–1950) his dentist, as models for the couple, dressing them in traditional clothes.
Interpretation
I think the painting is just a portait of a man and his wife on their farm or in front of their house their facial expression might have a meaning to why they are where they are but the background might have something to do with their facial expression or why the man is holding a pitchfork but other than that I'm not sure what the meaning of this painting is.
Judgment
This picture is a very nice picture in my opinion, but if were to value it it wouldn't cost a lot. Lets say I was buying decorations for a house or something like that I probably wouldn't buy it no matter the price. If I were to price it though I feel it would be about 25 to 30 dollars. I'm not sure how much pictures usually cost, but I hope my price is reasonable.
